The multi-talented GRiZ has cultivated a party-poppin’ corner of bass music all his own defined by sax-blastin’ productions and soulful live shows. His reflective nature and fun-loving attitude are mirrored in his unmistakable electronic creations, each their own serotonin-fueled gateway to a bona fide good time. Now building beats in the heart of Denver, GRiZ has proven that his eclectic style is boundless. A musical chameleon, GRiZ is never afraid to flip the switch from upbeat future funk to low-tempo glitch-hop, dive into the heavier leaning side of bass music, and even from time to time quench his thirst with a taste of four-on-the-floor or disco. This shape-shifting maestro can do it all, painting each cut with his vibey hallmark sound print and leaving no question of their genesis. After an extended hiatus, GRiZ returned in 2025 with his inaugural Seven Stars Festival in Arrington, VA, a gathering of more than 22,000 fans celebrating his first live performances in two years, surrounded by a stacked lineup including more than 60 artists in the bass scene. GRiZ closed the year with a run of sold-out headline events in Chicago and the Bay Area before bringing it home with the 10th anniversary of GRiZMAS in Detroit and a stacked festival run into New Year’s Eve. 2025 also marked a significant musical comeback, surprising fans with the release of the GEMiNI EP, followed by a slew of releases which included the Sidequest Vol. 1 Mixtape and a wave of collaborations with Wooli, Flowdan, Tape B, Gryffin and others. And GRiZ isn’t slowing down any time soon. Alongside two nights at The Armory in Minnesota, he is co-headlining a two-day experience at Washington’s The Gorge with Subtronics, bringing fan-favorite GRIZTRONICS to life. Seven Stars Festival will also return in October, in addition to multiple headline slots at festivals including Electric Forest, Bonnaroo, Okeechobee, and more. In fact, it seems GRiZ might just be getting started.
