Greg Piccolo is a renowned figure in the world of jazz, blues, and rhythm & blues, with an extraordinary career spanning over six decades. His skillful tenor saxophone playing, unique vocal style, and charismatic stage presence have earned him a respected place among the best in the industry.
In 1994, Greg launched his own band, Heavy Juice, and has been leading them for over 30 years. With Heavy Juice, Greg has built a reputation for high-energy, spontaneous live performances that blend blues, jazz, rock & roll, and rhythm & blues. Greg is known for his "less is more" approach, playing with purpose and focus, making every note and space count. His ability to creatively combine influences from iconic saxophonists such as Illinois Jacquet, Lester Young, Ben Webster, and Red Prysock have helped define his own distinctive sound. On guitar he is drawn to the style of New Orleans’s Earl King.
Greg's contributions to music have been widely recognized. He has been nominated multiple times for Blues Music Awards by the Memphis based Blues Foundation and has been inducted into the New England Music Hall of Fame. Over the years, Greg has had the privilege of sharing the stage with a diverse array of musical legends, including Pat Benatar, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimmie Vaughan including a multi-year stint with the "Tilt-A-Whirl" Band,  Eric Clapton, Big Joe Turner, and Eddie "Cleanhead" Vinson, among many others. These collaborations have further cemented Greg's reputation as a world-class musician.
 

All GA sections (Main Floor GA & Miles Davis Mezzanine) will be seated by host and are first come, first served (other than where a reserved sign is posted to table).  If you require special seating, please call the venue for accommodations no later than 48 hours prior to show date.
