*Happy Hour Concert Series* featuring Grayson Brockamp & Kyle Roussel Grayson Brockamp is a New Orleans–based bassist, composer, and bandleader known for his inventive, genre-blurring sound. A key voice in the city’s modern jazz scene, he blends jazz, funk, rock, and experimental influences with a deep groove and adventurous spirit. Brockamp has performed and collaborated with a wide range of artists across the New Orleans scene and beyond, bringing a fresh perspective and creative energy to every project he joins. Kyle Roussel, a Boutte, Louisiana native, is a dynamic pianist, composer, and producer channeling the spirit of New Orleans into every note. Rooted in classical, gospel, and jazz traditions and mentored by legends like Alvin Batiste and Ellis Marsalis Jr., his sound fuses the influences of James Booker, Dr. John, Stevie Wonder, and Jon Batiste into a vibrant, genre-blending style. Roussel has shared the stage and studio with major artists including Jon Batiste, Dave Grohl, Paul McCartney, Chance the Rapper, Irma Thomas, Ivan Neville, and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band.
