ThePhipps and the FUNK is a loop-powered jam band from Fredericksburg, VA, fusing classic rock, blues, funk, and soul into a signature sound. Fronted by Christian Phipps—who handles vocals, guitar, bass, drums, and saxophone—and joined by Curtis Jones on drums and keys, this dynamic duo uses live looping to create the energy and depth of a full ensemble. After a successful East Coast tour in 2024, they’re hitting the road again in 2025 with stops across VA, DC, MD, NY, NC, GA, and FL.
