Rock & blues guitar legend Gary Hoey Releases his first album in 6 years. “Avalanche” on Wazoo Music Group (Hoey’s own label) “Avalanche” features special guest Lita Ford on vocals on “You Know I Would” and Gary’s son, Ian Hoey, is featured on “Dear Mama” a tribute to Gary’s mother and “Summer’s Here”. Gary says, “Avalanche is a return to my rock roots. It feels great to turn up the volume and have some fun. This album was a therapeutic album for me. I named the album Avalanche because sometimes life feels like one thing after another. Hoey called on his old friends to help him record, Matt Scurfiled on drums, AJ Pappas on bass, Ian Hoey on guitar, his niece Taylor on background vocals. Hoey can’t wait to hit the road on his Avalanche Tour 2024. “Playing live is the best feeling, I love to travel and see the fans after the show. And having my son Ian playing guitar by my side is a dream come true. We will be playing the new and the old classics “Hocus Pocus”, Low Rider”and more. Hoey’s first break came in 1987 when Ozzy Osbourne showed up in Boston looking for a guitarist. Osborne liked Hoey’s tape enough to fly him to LA for an audition. Ozzy suggested that Gary move to LA. He took Ozzy’s advice and with $17,000 he saved from teaching Hoey loaded the U-Haul and drove across country to LA. In 1992 Hoey released “Heavy Bones” on Waner Bros. A short lived band. 1993 Hoey released “Animal Instinct” which included a cover of the Focus hit, “Hocus Pocus”. It rocketed into the Billboard Top 5, outpacing all other singles as the most frequently played rock song of the year, it’s no wonder Gary Hoey is listed as one of the top 100 guitarists of all time. 1994 Hoey scored the successful “Endless Summer II” soundtrack and had another radio hit with War’s “Low Rider.” Other film clients have included Walt Disney films, ESPN, New Line Cinema, scoring the music to “California Screaming” (Disney Roller Coaster), “Office Space,” “Deck the Halls” (Danny Devito), and Beethoven III. In 2012 Hoey produced and co-wrote The Queen Of Metal Lita Ford’s latest release “Living Like Runaway” 2025 will see a new Lita album produced and co-written by Hoey. Gary has toured with Jeff Beck, Brian May of Queen, Joe Bonamassa, Ted Nugent, Joe Satriani, The Doobie Brothers, Foreigner, Styx.

In January 1997 UK-born Taz Taylor took a leap of faith and boarded a plane to Los Angeles with nothing more than a guitar, a backpack and roughly $2,000...
He spent much of his first year in the USA as a long haul truck driver, criss-crossing the country countless times in an 18-wheeler and spending the downtime in his sleeper berth practicing guitar. Eventually he settled in San Diego CA and set about recording his debut instrumental album "Caffeine Racer" which was released in July 2004. A band was formed and live shows commenced.
Caffeine Racer got the attention of legendary vocalist Graham Bonnet, most notable for working with the best guitarists in rock (Ritchie Blackmore, Michael Schenker, Yngwie Malmsteen, Steve Vai) and they set about recording the Taz Taylor Band album "Welcome To America" which was released on the UK label Escape Music in Aug 2006. Present TTB drummer Val Trainor joined immediately after the WTA sessions were completed.
International tours followed in 2007 and 2008, taking the band to UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary and Czech Republic.
In 2009 the band recruited another ex-MSG vocalist, Keith Slack for the "Straight Up" album, also on Escape Music, and also featuring a guest appearance from Deep Purple's Don Airey on keyboards.
2010 saw the band returning to Taz' instrumental roots with the release of "Big Dumb Rock".
Current TTB bassist Barney Firks joined immediately after the recording of this album and the band played a string of dates to promote BDR.
In 2014 TTB released "Deja Voodoo", an all instrumental offering of eight songs featuring a line-up that had now been together for four years and bonded and grown into something really special. During the summer of 2014 TTB embarked on a 10-date Summer Tour to promote Deja Voodoo, including dates in California as well as eight dates in the UK.
June 2017 saw the release of “Pressure And Time”. This album featured the vocal talents of Chandler Mogel.
The album was released on Escape Music in Europe and on Rubicon Music in Japan. The Japanese version included a live bonus track, Explorations… recorded on the band’s 2014 tour in the U.K.
March 2019 sees the band return to their first love…INSTRUMENTAL ROCK!!
“Hats, Tats and Guitars” Hard, fast, slow, tender... Instrumental Rock. Performed by "lifer" musicians who are in it because they have nothing they would rather be doing! On this album, Guitarist Taz Taylor, Bassist B.L. Firks and Drummer Val Trainor have managed to combine the swagger and attitude of 80's Sunset Strip with the musical virtuosity of the shred guitar boom which also peaked in that decade... whilst simultaneously raising a huge musical middle finger to the decade that followed. It's only 2019 if you look at a calendar and tune into today's crap mainstream radio! Grab a copy of "Hats, Tats And Guitars" and remind yourself what Rock and Roll is supposed to sound like!

1996 was a whirlwind year for the original members of Orange County rock band, Liquid Circus. Within the same year of formation, the band released a self-titled debut album, were recognized as Best New Artist (North America), and as a result, were featured on a compilation CD alongside Motley Crue and Sponge. With their initial success, they continued to perform live, increasing the promotion and distribution of their music to foreign markets.
Today, founding member and song writer, Rick Maestas has teamed up with long-time bandmate Benjamin Sanders to reform the band’s sound and vision. They had tremendous success together in the 80’s, playing in bands such as Section 8 and Call of the Wild. Over the years, Liquid Circus has shared the stage with the likes of Y & T, Metallica, Foghat, RATT, Blue Oyster Cult, Mr.Big and many more. They continue to play countless shows at venues including The Canyon, The Coach House Concert Hall, The Viper Room and The Whisky a Go Go.
The addition of Lou Voutiritsas (drums) in 2019 and Mike Kobayashi (guitar) in 2020, brings strong energy and a solid foundation to the band. More than 20 years later, Liquid Circus continues to grow a steady yet loyal fan base, proving that old school rock 'n' roll is still alive and well in Southern California.
