Join Gabrielle Pietrangelo and an amazing lineup of friends, including Howe Gelb, John Convertino (Calexico), John Coinman, Naim Amor, Tom Walbank, Wolf Larsen, Mamma Coal, Thøger Lund, Jacob Valenzuela, Nick Coventry, Katherine Byrnes, Chris Peña, Casey Hadland plus Brian Lopez for a star-studded Tucson gathering to celebrate the release of her new album, Back to the Heart.
Mariachi Aztlań De Pueblo to open the show in the courtyard at 7pm.
*The Temple Lounge bar opens at 6:30pm. Enjoy a cocktail and Mariachi.

Gabrielle Pietrangelo's desert inspired, voice centered, indie-folk has been evolving in the Tucson region for two decades. Recently returning to solo songwriter roots after years of harmony-based projects, Gabrielle is set to release a full-length solo album in 2024. Driven by guitar and ethereal vocals, Gabrielle’s music holds themes of nature, image invoking lyrics, humor and personal spirituality. She is a recent John Lennon Songwriting Contest winner and has arranged and performed vocal harmonies for many national and local acts including, Calexico, Howe Gelb, Amos Lee, Marianne Dissard, Brian Lopez, Mamma Coal and more. Her recent Kickstarter campaign garnered her the financial and community support needed to complete her upcoming solo album.

Shining bright from under the Tucson, Arizona sun, Brian Lopez is a vanguard in crafting the sound of the Southwest indie scene for the past two decades. Navigating space between a classically-trained guitarist and a crooner-style singer, his projects have fluxed between solo projects and co-fronting the Tucson-based Psych Rock/Cumbia band XIXA. Additionally, his musical talents have been lent to touring with the likes of KT Tunstall, Giant Sand, Mexican Institute Of Sound, Orkesta Mendoza, and Calexico, while his voice has been featured on many recordings including Amos Lee's "Windows Are Rolled Down" and KT Tunstall's album "Invisible Empire // Crescent Moon."

John Coinman is an award-winning singer-songwriter who grew up on the Kiowa Grasslands in Clayton, New Mexico. He has recorded five solo albums and had numerous songs in films and on television. John is the bandleader for Kevin Costner & Modern West (KCMW) and he was the Music Supervisor for the film Dances With Wolves.

Mariachi Aztlán has shared the stage with many of the world’s finest Musicians, Linda Ronstandt, Symphony Orchestras and world renowned artists like Pink Martini, Rufus Wainwright III, Calexico and Rita Moreno. etc.
