Gabrielle Cavassa is an American jazz vocalist and composer known for her intimate, expressive singing and distinctive voice. Born in Escondido, California and now based in New Orleans, Cavassa developed her artistry by immersing herself in diverse musical styles from a young age before earning a Bachelor of Arts in Music and becoming a fixture in the Bay Area and New Orleans jazz scenes. She independently released her self-titled debut album in 2020, co-produced with drummer and producer Jamison Ross, and won the prestigious International Sarah Vaughan Jazz Vocal Competition in 2021.  Cavassa gained wider attention through her collaboration with renowned saxophonist Joshua Redman, most notably on his 2023 Blue Note album Where Are We, where her vocals were featured throughout the project, and on the 2025 album Words Fall Short. She has also performed and recorded with Adonis Rose and the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra, Jamison Ross, and contributed vocals on projects by artists such as Bria Skonberg and others. In 2024 Cavassa signed with Blue Note Records and continues to tour internationally, acclaimed for her rich tone and emotive interpretations. In order to preserve the integrity, quiet and focus of our world class intimate concerts, only the charcuterie, cocktails and soft drinks are available for table service inside the Music Room. However, we encourage you to arrive at least 90 Minutes prior to your showtime in order to enjoy full, relaxing dinner service in the Dining Room right next door, before getting seated in the Music Room for your ticketed showtime.
