The Salt City Jazz Collective was formed in 1995 to provide an outlet for composers and classic works. After a 25-year run at the Suds Factory in Syracuse, the ensemble continues to perform at regional concert series, theaters, parks, and special events.

The Stan Colella Orchestra has been an integral part of Central New York’s live entertainment community for over 50 years and have performed countless concerts, conventions, festivals, weddings, dinner dances, charitable fundraisers and shows all across New York State. The Stan Colella Orchestra has been characterized by solid sound with exacting arrangements featuring recognizable American Standards from the 40’s and 50’s, along with contemporary hits. The Orchestra, led by Len Colella a second-generation musician, is renowned for being prepared and professional with no musical detail being overlooked. Len and the Orchestra have opened shows for Al Martino and James Darren and musically supported performers such as Frank Sinatra Jr., Wayne Newton, Ronnie Milsap, Charo, Frankie Valli, Michael Amante, The Four Tops, The Temptations, and The Spinners, just to name a few. Throughout the band’s history, the Colella Orchestra has performed with such greats as: Tony Bennett, Jerry Vale, Keely Smith, Andy Williams, Bob Hope, Engelbert Humperdinck, Debbie Reynolds, The Four Aces, Henny Youngman, Jimmy Van Heusen, Liberace, Lou Rawls, Mary Wilson, Mickey Rooney, Natalie Cole, Roger Williams, The Four Freshman, The Four Lads, Bobby Rydell, Tony Randall, and Bobby Vinton.

Jeff Martin is a guitarist with over 30 years of experience who specializes in traditional and contemporary jazz, blues, rock and R&B. Influenced by Grant Green, George Benson, Russell Malone, Kenny Burrell and Larry Carlton, Jeff performs solo jazz guitar as well as with various groups in Syracuse, NY and the Central New York area.  In 2018, Jeff had the pleasure of playing with world renowned master of the B-3 Hammond organ, Tony Monaco, for two sold out nights in March at the Blue Moon Grill in Fulton, NY and the Fulton Jazz Fest in August. Jeff periodically plays with Tony when he comes through the Syracuse area once or twice a year. In addition to his work as a solo jazz guitarist, Jeff also performs in duos with piano, vocals or bass as well as a guitarist for Shawn Seals SMX group, a fusion of gospel, jazz, soul, funk, blues with rock overtones. Sola-Mar-Tini is Inspired by OGD (organ, guitar, drums) trios led by Jimmy Smith, Joey DeFrancesco and Tony Monaco. The Sola-Mar-Tini trio combines your favorite jazz standards with a little pop, funk and blues. Jeff also serves on the Fulton Jazz Fest Board of Directors.
