A Grunge-Pop Band from the SoCal Desert
What happens when you combine a grunge singer songwriter, an emo guitarist, and a metal influenced bass player? You get Into Action, a Grunge-Pop band from the desert on the outskirts of Los Angeles. Our band is in the process of recording our full-length musical release, launching our Patreon with awesome rewards for its members, and playing shows all around California.
Our members include husband and wife musicians Devin and Joey Aguilar who met playing in the Antelope Valley local music scene. Devin was fronting an all-girl punk band while Joseph was playing bass for an alternative metal music project and beginning his journey as a sound engineer and producer.
Ivan Oliva soon followed, filling out the band's sound with Ivan's melodic lead guitar abilities. Devin and Joey met Ivan while recording and performing together in a local pop-punk project. By combining the musical talents and hard work ethic of all its members, Into Action plans to take the world by storm, one listener at a time.

For seven years, three friends gather nearly every Sunday morning in a makeshift studio space at an industrial park just outside of Los Angeles, to play loud music influenced by a collective love of brash indie and alternative rock & roll. A lot of things evolve over those seven years - marriages happen, kids are born, jobs are changed. But the music persists, and it evolves too.
Personnel: Vic Lazar - guitar, vocals Michael Jung - bass Steven Aguilera - drums

Brazenly raw emotion and headbanging psychedelia overflow in the dynamic sound of Exceptional Failures. The PDX two piece, made up of singer/guitarist Corey Distler and drummer Dambo, shatter expected limitations of a duo with heavy riffs and fiery, unpredictable solo breaks. Distler’s poignant lyrics, often drenched in the darkness or spiritual worth of humankind, are delivered with heart-wrenching intensity while Dambo’s commanding drum power propels them through their explorative arrangements.
Officially formed for a show on New Year’s Eve 2022, the duo emerged from the wreckage of an experimental 4-piece outfit. Distler adopted a unique style, seamlessly transitioning between bass, rhythm and lead parts. Dambo also crafted a new drum approach, favoring frequent fills, solos and drum breaks. Their dedication to this stripped-down instrumentation allowed for Distler’s inspired songwriting, honed in his past project Dead Men Talking, to flourish. In turn, Dambo’s experimental, off-the-wall audio/visual project, The High Five, primed the group for their ambitious DIY music and video concepts.
