“For Play” is a new band in the area. It is the musical idea of bass player, Lenny Gray.
It is a tribute to the band ”Four Play” led by pianist Bob James.
After Lenny met guitarist Mike Vincent and shared the idea, Mike volunteered
to transcribe the music.
Pianist Duncan Crooks also liked the idea and brought his originals to the table.
Lenny played with drummer Tony Watson Sr. on a few occasions.
We play many “Four Play” songs, and our originals.
“For Play” is a magical musical band.
