Food Aid is a two day music festival in support of addressing food insecurity. Food Aid's mission is to eliminate individuals and their families from experiencing hunger. We believe that food insecurity should not exist, as the right to food is a human right. Through music and entertainment, Food Aid will serve as an important funding source for interconnected community organizations and initiatives aimed at addressing food insecurity.

Mary Lane, 86 year old Blues Legend and National Treasure. Hailed in 2021 as ‘Comeback Artist of the Year” by Living Blues Magazine. Our Chicago Blues master has been inducted into the Chicago Blues Hall of Fame and awarded the coveted Koko Taylor Lifetime Achievement Award from the prestigious JUS BLUES Music Foundation in 2021.
Mary Lane and the No Static Blues Band are Chicago’s real deal Blues Band. “Mary Lane is the Real Deal,” said Grammy Award winner & Blues Legend, Buddy Guy.
Her most recent CD, “Travelin Woman” was nominated for a Blues Music Award and a Blues Blast Award. The recording is her first solo release in 20 years.
On Sunday, June 12th the City of Chicago and Mayor Lightfoot will Ho or Mary Lane on the Women In Blues stage at Chicago Blues Festival.
Mary will also be the featured Blues Woman in the Woman of the Blues: A Coast To Coast Collection touring exhibit opening Wednesday, June 8th at the Epiphany Center For The Arts.
