Flogging Molly is Dave King (lead vocals, acoustic guitar, bodhran), Bridget Regan (violin, tin whistle, vocals), Dennis Casey (guitar, vocals), Matt Hensley (accordion, concertina, vocals), Nathen Maxwell (bass guitar, vocals), Spencer Swain (mandolin, banjo, guitar, vocals), and Mike Alonso (drums, percussion).
Starting out as the house band for Molly Malone’s in Los Angeles and building a loyal following through endless touring, Flogging Molly has become a staple in the punk scene over the past 20-plus years, kicking off with their riotous debut album, Swagger, and continuing through their six additional studio albums.Flogging Molly’s most recent album Anthem arrived in September 2022 via Rise Records and saw the band reunite with legendary engineer Steve Albini (who worked with Flogging Molly on their first two albums Swagger and Drunken Lullabies). Brooklyn Vegan said Anthem is “a ripper,” New Noise said Anthem “easily satisfies expectations the Celtic-inspired punks have built over a decades-long career,” and American Songwriter triumphantly declared, “Flogging Molly is back.” The band released four videos in support of Anthem, including the timely track and clip for “A Song of Liberty,” penned by King as a recounting of a dark period in Irish history but made all the more relevant with events in Ukraine. The Mad Twins, Ukrainian animators/filmmakers, created the stirring video (https://youtu.be/ccGKjOQsEp0).
In March 2023 the band released a new, three-song,‘Til The Anarchy’s Restored EP(Rise Records), featuring the previously unreleased title track and one-take performances of the band’s classic songs:“Drunken Lullabies” and “What’s Left of the Flag,”.
Recent touring has brought Flogging Molly to historic locations including Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, Austin City Limits Live at The Moody Theater, and the band’s annual St. Patrick’s Day outing at the Hollywood Palladium (which sold out) as well as recent performances at European festivals Rock Am Ring, Rock Im Park, Hellfest, and both Slam Dunk Festivals. The band’s annual Salty Dog Cruise sold out 3 years in a row, with the recently announced 2024 edition selling out within one week. The band recently announced Shamrock Rebellion, the band’s own St patricks Day Festival in Orange County CA and Las Vegas, as well as the Road To Rebellion US tour, which features Amigo The Devil and Gen And The Degenerates.

The Rumjacks unleash Dead Anthems – A face-melting Celtic punk revolution in 12 parts.
Celtic punk legends, The Rumjacks, are set to light a fire under fans old and new with the electrifying Dead Anthems. Recorded in Asbury Park, New Jersey, this highly anticipated sixth album is a testament to the band’s unwavering spirit and relentless energy.
Dead Anthems, due out on February 7th 2025, marks a bold new chapter for The Rumjacks, combining their signature Celtic punk sound with fresh, dynamic elements. Produced by Rumjacks' frontman Mike Rivkees, engineered by Pete Steinkopf of The Bouncing Souls and mixed by Kevin Bivona of The Interrupters, the album is a high-octane blend of tradition and innovation. The album's sonic landscape captures the raw energy and passion that fans have come to love, while also pushing new boundaries within the Celtic punk cannon.
The album’s lead single, "Come Hell Or High Water," dropped on September 6, and has already begun to resonate with both long-time fans and new converts. The track showcases The Rumjacks' knack for seamlessly blending gritty, anthemic punk with the rich, melodic influences of Celtic folk, drawing on Mike Rivkees family’s immigrant past for inspiration, “This song is about how many of our ancestors were forced to flee their native countries to give us the lives we have today” says Rivkees.
Adding an extra layer of stoke, Dead Anthems features a special guest appearance by Ken Casey of Dropkick Murphys. Casey lends his unmistakable vocal power to the track "Cold Like This," a raucous sea shanty inspired by “walking home from a Boston bar with a windchill of -20F” according to Rivkees.
Dead Anthems captures the essence of Asbury Park's musical legacy while infusing it with The Rumjacks' unique sound. The collaboration with such some truly iconic rockers has set a new standard for the band, ensuring that Dead Anthems is not just an album, but a happening.
Dead Anthems also serves as an obvious tribute to that titan of Celtic punk, Shane McGowan of the Pogues. “Some Legends Never Die” was written about the passing of Shane MacGowan,” says Rivkees. “He inspired an entire PLANET of songwriters to go on and write about their experiences in poetic, dark, and raw ways.”
Sepaking of planets, The Rumjacks’ are truly a band of the world, with its members currently living in Boston, Berlin, Belfast and Milan but coming together to tour and record with a regularity that puts most other bands to shame.
With Dead Anthems, The Rumjacks are set to once again redefine the boundaries of Celtic punk. Their unwavering dedication to their craft and their ability to continually evolve their sound ensures that this album will be celebrated both by devoted followers and by a new generation of fans.
