FilmGate Miami and the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science (Frost Science) are joining forces for a mind-expanding collaboration that explores science, tech, and art – all within immersive dome experiences in the Frost Planetarium on the museum’s campus in Downtown Miami. The FilmGate Fusion at Frost Science partnership brings together some of the most innovative audiovisual artists from around the globe to explore the fusion of these disciplines.

The event features curated immersive films based on different themes in the Frost Planetarium, which uses 16-million-color 8K projection, surround sound and a 67-foot dome to take guests on visual journeys that both thrill and educate. Hands-on educational opportunities and original content produced by Frost Science will be featured during the events as part of the museum’s ongoing commitment to support local organizations and be an educational resource for the community.

The series culminates with the opening night for the 12th edition of FilmGate Interactive, a media festival where technology meets storytelling, on Thurssday, December 4. This special event includes an original collaboration between FilmGate Miami, Frost Science, and TAICCA.
