Sweeney has spent decades dazzling audiences from New York to Montreal, Miami Beach to London, with his delightfully off-center tribute to the iconic singer, songwriter, and actress. His portrayal carries the imprimatur of Holly Foster-Wells, Peggy Lee's granddaughter and manager of the Peggy Lee estate, and has earned him two MAC Awards and two Bistro Awards for Outstanding Impersonation and Musical Comedy Duo.

Critics have taken note of Sweeney's uncanny channeling of the Grammy-winning legend. BACKSTAGE Magazine said “Chuck Sweeney sparks  a fever in Lee that lights up Times Square!”, while reviewers of his work have called it "a tantalizing take on Miss Peggy Lee" and simply "hilarious."
