In 2016, Mario moved to Seattle with a handful of synth-pop songs to start Northern Nomads. Growing up listening to artists like The Human League and Depeche Mode, Northern Nomads’ frontman found his inspiration for writing music by blending 80’s synth-pop with a notable funk and disco influence from artists like Jamiroquai and Daft Punk. "Night & Day," sets the tone for the four-song EP, which includes upbeat production-heavy dance tracks combining deep synthesizers and three part vocal melodies. When performing live, Northern Nomads is a five-piece band featuring Evan Rendes on lead guitar, Dave Testa on drums, John Hage on synths and Forest Bohrer on bass guitar and synth bass.
