Description
Legends.  Formed in 1978 in Los Angeles, they shaped not only the sound of Punk Rock, but defined the attitude and style which countless others mimic to this day.  FEAR was the first punk rock band to grace national television via Saturday Night Live in 1981, thanks to their fan and friend John Belushi.  FEAR remain on the permanently banned list from Saturday Night Live to this day.  Their first album "FEAR the record" has sold over 450,000 copies and is considered one of the top ten punk rock albums of all time.  FEAR's frontman, Lee Ving, is also an accomplished actor with appearances in "Flashdance", "Clue" and over 30 films and television shows.  Former members of FEAR have gone on to play with "The Red Hot Chili Peppers", "Captain Beefheart", "The Breeders" and "Frank Black & The Catholics". Lee Ving is a prominent member of Dave Grohl's Sound City Players and appeared in the 2013 film and soundtrack.  2015 was the 30th anniversary of FEAR's 2nd album "More Beer", and saw the release of the long lost track, "Neighbors", featuring vocals from John Belushi from 1981.  2018 is the band's 40th anniversary, and original members Philo Cramer and Spit Stix have re-joined the band for this momentus occasion. FEAR is currently writing and planning a new full length album, slated for release in late 2018.   Meet & Greet Add-On does not include a GA ticket.  You must also purchase a GA ticket to the show. Meet & Greet Add-On includes: - M&G with the band following soundcheck - 1 exclusive FEAR poster - 1 exclusive t-shirt (size to be selected at the merch booth) - 1 exclusive button
