Description
“Exposure” is a new band formed to bring Robert Fripp’s influential and captivating solo album Exposure to audiences around the world. “Exposure”, released in 1979, during Fripp's NYC residency -- between iterations of King Crimson -- was never performed live. This unique and diverse band includes long-time Robert Fripp collaborators Terre Roche (Exposure, The Roches) on vocals and guitar, Pat Mastelotto (King Crimson) drums and percussion, Fernando Kabusacki (League of Crafty Guitarists) guitars, Steve Ball (League of Crafty Guitarists) guitars and backing vocals. They are joined by Don Box (Orchestra of Crafty Guitarists) bass and orchestrations, Deb Mastelotto (A Romantic’s Guide to King Crimson) on vocals and Tarot and New York pianist, Garry Dial (Exposure band) on piano. The band will present Exposure in its entirety, in both acoustic and electric contexts. In addition, the show includes several indelible Roches tunes, produced by Robert during his New York tenure. Re: this unique staging, Fripp has proclaimed enthusiastic: “Full support and encouragement. Rock out!”
