Erik Jekabson is a versatile and highly accomplished jazz trumpet player, composer, and educator known for his lyrical tone, inventive improvisations, and creative compositions. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Jekabson has established himself as a prominent figure in the jazz community, performing with a wide range of notable musicians and ensembles. Over the course of his career, he has collaborated with luminaries such as John Mayer, Illinois Jacquet, Galactic, and Kermit Ruffins. Jekabson's adaptability and skill have allowed him to work in diverse musical settings, from intimate jazz combos to large orchestras. His playing seamlessly blends traditional jazz influences with modern sensibilities, reflecting the influence of trumpet greats like Miles Davis and Freddie Hubbard while showcasing his own distinct voice. However, we encourage you to arrive at least 90 Minutes prior to your showtime in order to enjoy full, relaxing dinner service in the Dining Room right next door, before getting seated in the Music Room for your ticketed showtime.
