The band was formed by Kip Berman (vocals, guitar), Peggy Wang (keyboards, vocals), Alex Naidus (bass), and Kurt Feldman (drums) in 2007. The band reunited in 2025 to celebrate 15 years of their debut, self-titled album which was included on "The 30 Best Dream Pop Albums" list by Pitchfork.
