Ego Death is an experience! The bravest comedians bear their vulnerability through shocking and embarrassing stories, then reveal themselves further in a strong spectacle of blind karaoke. They're gonna kill the crowd, but first they gotta kill their egos!

Lauren Michaels is a dynamic actor and comedienne who was born and raised in Dayton, OH. A graduate of NYU TSOA and The Second City, she flourished in sketch and improv, which led her to direct her first comedy short, "A.I. Vibrator." Lauren has been standing up across LA's comedy clubs, including Roast Battles at The Comedy Store and The Ontario Improv.
In 2022 she created the Ego Death event, encouraging comedians to have fun through stories and songs, and now she is happy to see it flourish at the Lab, and soon another city near you!
When she isn't inducing LOLs, she's riding her bicycle throughout Los Angeles-- watch out for her!

Apr. 15th, 2010 Papp Johnson touched the stage for the first time and changed comedy forever by winning Sony’s Death at a funeral stand up competition while sitting down. Instead he stood on his incredible storytelliing ability and punchlines that would later carry him onward to Los Angeles, CA. where his legend grew even bigger with several festival appearances (SF Sketchfest, Treefort Comedy Festival, 1865 festival) And if you think he looks fimilar it might be from one of his many commercials with Dunkin Donuts, Samsung, Fox sports or one of his appearances on “That Damn Michael Che” or “Wu-Tang: An American Saga”. No matter what or where you’ve seen him there is no denying that Papp Johnson’s art is timeless.

He is a current staff writer for Dumpster Fire with Bridget Phetasy and creator of the nationally successful Wook Comedy Show
His TV appearances include Amazon's Laugh After Dark, Rain Wilson's SoulPancake Network and Kendra On Top on WeTV. He has appeared nationally in comedy festivals including SLO Comedy Fest and the prestigious Gilda's LaughFest. In addition, Dave's highly regarded album "One Long Merch Pitch" is on regular rotation on SiriusXM

Leah Knauer is a multi-talented comedic and musical force to be reckoned with. An extremely gifted improviser, actress, and singer, Leah's performances are a captivating blend of sass, wit, and musical charm that leave audiences in stitches.
Leah's impressive resumé includes collaborations with some of the biggest names in the industry, such as Wayne Brady, Conan O'Brien, Jimmy Fallon, Mary J. Blige, Jimmy Kimmel, Meghan Trainor, Travis Kelce, and Jack Black. She has been in films such as JAY AND SILENT BOB REBOOT, PINK SKIES AHEAD, and DOGNAPPED: HOUND FOR THE HOLIDAYS. As for TV, you've seen her on Comedy Central's CORPORATE and NOT SAFE WITH NIKKI GLASER. Leah has been a guest several times on the ADAM CAROLLA SHOW.
Leah has proven herself to be a versatile performer capable of entertaining audiences on every medium. Leah is the Gemini co-host of the popular spiritual-comedy "BASIC WITCHES" podcast, which was recorded in the haunted basement of The World Famous Comedy Store in Hollywood.
Leah's work extends beyond the stage and screen, as she has been featured in videos and articles in various media outlets such as Forbes, Cosmopolitan, Buzzfeed, CollegeHumor, Clevver, Adam Carolla Show, and Refinery 29. Leah wrote, produced, and performed THE C-WORD: CONSENT, a comedic sexual consent awareness show that currently tours colleges all across the country. She was also a writer for Fullscreen, DirecTV's comedy sports late-night talk show FAIR GAME WITH BROCK EVERETT, and was a Talent & Monologue Intern at CONAN. She has been a consultant on and helped develop over 100+ game shows and comedy shows for network television.
Leah is an outspoken advocate for issues close to her heart, including mental health, sex & body positivity, healing from addiction, and female empowerment. In her free time, she paints funky neon art (and sells it!), writes music, volunteers at Young Storytellers, and even has three of her own holographic oracle decks! (One of which, the Deck of Hearts, is already SOLD OUT!)
With her extensive training in improv at Groundlings, UCB, iO West, Second City Chicago, and Westside Comedy, Leah is a master of her craft. Leah was accepted into the Groundlings Writer's Lab. She has performed at renowned comedy festivals such as SF SketchFest, Del Close Marathon in NYC, Red Rocks Comedy Festival in Utah, Las Vegas Comedy Festival, and more. She often goes viral on TikTok for her celebrity impressions.

Bear Badeaux is a southern actor and comedian who produces the off the wall, wrestling inspired, traveling show “Mullet Time Comedy.” Many recognize Bear from Roast Battle and Kill Tony, but he’s also starred in 2 Broke Girls, Black Jesus, Mind of Mencia, and more. Recently, you can catch him starring as Floyd in the award winning film Roving Woman now available on amazon. In 2024, it was his honor to work on the OnlyFans Roast of Whitney Cummings and Bert Kreischer.

Maggie Faris is a highly acclaimed comedian celebrated for her ceaselessly cheerful personality and seemingly endless series of quirky, intelligent jokes that dissect our fears and social barriers. She has made a significant mark in the comedy world, winning the Minnesota Laugh Off and becoming the Public Address Announcer for the St. Paul Saints professional baseball team, which led to an appearance on ESPN’s Cold Pizza for her unique style and memorable announcements.
Maggie’s talent has been recognized with several awards, including the “Funniest Clip of the Year” and the Silver Nail award at the Aspen Comedy Festival, where she beat out Tig Notaro.
