Brier, Washington native and Mountlake Terrace High School 2005 homecoming king Brent Flyberg returns to Seattle for one night at the historic Here-After theater in Belltown, mere blocks from City Hostel, the site of HOT STEEL, Brent’s former hostel basement crowd work show.
Before relocating to Los Angeles to start the well-attended weekly show COMEDY NEAR ME in the Atwater Village neighborhood, Brent co-wrote, produced, and performed in the cult favorite comedy show, BORING TIME, which Seattle Weekly heralded as “weird,” at Scratch Deli, Capitol Hill’s premier performance space/sandwich shop.
A graduate of the People's Republic of Komedy, Seattle’s early aughts alt-comedy incubator, Brent produces Pod Yourself A Gun, a Sopranos podcast that is "popular" according to The New York Times Magazine. Brent has performed at now-dead festivals like the Bumbershoot and Bridgetown, and the more-alive-than-ever Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Standing at nearly six feet tall, most people think he is, in fact, six feet tall.
