Daryl's House Free Music Brunch is proud to present Matt Jacob (vocals/guitar) accompanied by Jack Riley (vocals/keys) on the last day of March. The duo are a subset of the group The Matt Jacob Band (guitar, keys, bass, drums) - a four piece band from NYC that honed their sound largely last year with monthly shows at notable NYC venues like Rockwood Music Hall and The Bitter End. Their original psychedelic blues rock sound is a sonic journey that expertly weaves songs in a captivating jam band fashion. From the husky vocals of Matt Jacob, to the deep pocket of the band, their live performances are fun, electrifying and full of infectious grooves. In addition, their age dynamic, with Jacob being a generation older than his bandmates, adds a rich blend of musical experiences that resonates with audiences of all ages. Recently, they recorded at Mercy Sound Studio in NYC's Lower East Side (chosen studio of Blondie, Mickey Hart, The Killers, Ryan Adams), and released their debut single 'There They Go' across streaming platforms in January. This summer they’ll begin their first tour dates with shows in the Northeast, from Boston to D.C.
