Dustin Dollin's Fine Mess
Dustin Dollin's Fine Mess
Garage Punk
Fine Mess is the international rock ’n’ roll duo of Dustin Dollin and Julia Pierce.
Dollin—celebrated for his Aussie hell-spawn lineage in Baker 3 and Volcom’s Let’s Live
era—brings fearless frontman presence and an unmistakable voice, while Pierce, a staple of the
New York City punk scene, anchors the band with seductive hook-craft and a steadying sonic
compass. As Jack Ladder puts it, “with Julia Pierce, he’s found the ultimate lozenge for his
razor-blade throat.”
They met by accident on New York’s L train; by the end of the night—at a Lydia Lunch
show—Fine Mess was set in motion. Their provocative, literate songwriting fuels a combustible
yet deeply human project that returns to rock ’n’ roll’s roots and early punk’s unpretentious fun:
primal rebellion with a cheeky grin.
Their debut Fine Mess LP was recorded upstate New York at Sound Manor with Oakley Munson
(The Black Lips), capturing the band’s live chemistry with clarity and bite. Standouts like “New
York” (a love letter to the city’s unruly charm) and the brazen, anarchic “Cum On Me” sit
alongside “Tell Me,” which nods to the shambolic swagger of Thunders’ Heartbreakers and the
Stones’ Exile era—loose, lived-in, and built for gang-vocal choruses.
Cat Power dubbed “Fun” her “national anthem,” and Warren Ellis (Nick Cave of The Bad Seeds) called the record “so catchy, so many hooks, and a heart as big as Phar Lap.” Influenced by The Easybeats, The Saints, and Rowland S. Howard—and contemporaries like The Black Lips and Violent Femmes—Occult Magazine describes Fine Mess as “a fresh imagination of chaos and melody.” Their live set has already earned them opening slots for The Lemon Twigs and The Mystery Lights.
Fine Mess rewrites rock ’n’ roll with rebellion, love, and songs that last—punchy hooks that hit
fast and stay with you. Heartfelt but built for the crowd, it feels timeless and of our moment.

Garage Punk
M.A.T.B. (f.k.a. Miranda and The Beat) don't ask for your attention, they steal it. Born out of
the NYC gutters and now wreaking havoc from the vulgar depths of New Orleans, the band has
been tearing shit up since 2018. Raw, reckless, and riding on a no-rules gang mentality,
M.A.T.B. hits hard and leaves you begging to get hit again.
Miranda “Randy” Zipse wasn’t born into this world. She exploded from it, a human hurricane
armed with a Telecaster and a scream that could tear down walls. For almost a decade, she and
Dylan “Baby” Fernandez (Farfisa, guitar) have thrived in chaos concocting melodies, riffs, and
hooks that bite as hard as their live shows hit. Backed by their fearless comrades Alvin ”M.F.”
Jackson on bass and Christian “Sugar” King on drums, this crew refuses to fade. The band that
just won’t go away is ready to infest your brain like the cockroaches they are.
M.A.T.B. has relentlessly torn through the U.S. and Europe on many a ferocious tour cycle,
leaving sweat, noise, and mayhem in every city. On stage they’ve run with the depraved and
legendary: The Black Lips, The Spits, The King Khan & BBQ Show, Bad Nerves, The Gories, The
Mystery Lights, and more. Along the way, they’ve released music on Third Man Records,
Khannibalism/Ernest Jenning Record Co., and Wild Honey, with some of the production/mix
damage overseen by Nick Zinner (Yeah Yeah Yeahs) and the sonic wizard Paul Millar.
On their new LP Nerve Damage, soon to hit shelves, M.A.T.B. blends their scorched punk n roll
energy with 80s new wave menace, creating a sound that punches like the Ramones, chills like
John Carpenter, and sneaks in the cold precision of neue deutsche welle and OG hardcore
influences. Tweakin out while digging through some trash? Spin “SPATZ.” Late night, full speed,
never coming back? That’s “Make It On My Own”. The chaos does not stop. Nerve Damage
grabs you, punches, screams, and refuses to let go.
Hell, don’t take my word for it. I honestly haven’t even heard the album yet (not sure it exists,
and if it does it probably sucks) but here’s what Randy herself has to say about it, “Nerve
Damage is about embracing the dark and disgusting parts of yourself because the more beat up
we become by life, the more beautiful and unique we become. M.A.T.B. is comin at ya and it’s
only gonna get better.”

D. Sablu
D. Sablu
Garage Punk
New Orleans-based D.Sablu is the artistic moniker of David Sabludowsky—a project that has evolved from one-man, drum-machine cassette tapes into an electrified, unstoppable full-band powerhouse. Standing at the crossroads of rock n roll, punk, hardcore, and electronic the sound is best described as "Elvis tunes on acid" and is delivered with breakneck Rock N’ Roll conviction.
Over the last six years, D.Sablu has maintained a relentless DIY streak, culminating in the high-water mark of 2024’s first full band studio album No True Silence. The latest 7” on 11PM Records marks a new chapter. This new material captures a killer mix of Discharge, Death Side, and Poison Idea energy, all while channeling Wire, Metallica, and Straus’ Zarathustra. Critically praised as "wild and weird," D.Sablu’s music balances a gritty, lawless attitude with catchy, mid-to-fast-paced electro-punk energy.
The D.Sablu live experience is visceral and frequently described as spiritual. Known for taping down only to tear up stages and turning technical malfunctions into "happy accidents," the band delivers a sweat-stained sacrifice to the gods of rock. Whether touring with Eyehategod or Prison Affair, D.Sablu proves that pure energy transcends genre boundaries. Lyrically moving between adrenaline-fueled collective catharsis and reflections on social conditioning, D.Sablu remains a sonic antithesis to the algorithm—musically unmaintainable, unstoppable, and unapologetically loud.
