Growing up in México and Germany, Papi Fimbres and Shana Lindbeck’s destiny led them to meet in Portland, OR. Wanting to honor their heritages in a new and collaborative way, they set out to form DRECKIG, which means dirty in German. Both deeply influenced by Cumbia’s melodious rhythms and German electronic compositions, they have created their own unique sound within that realm. Using all vintage drum machines and synthesizers, these elements are combined & envisioned in the studio, then brought to the stage in a mystical, dance club frenzy.

With an unwavering passion that transcends borders and genres, Rizoma celebrates the rich rhythms of Latin America, cultivating a local scene in Seattle that embraces global music and honors diasporas. Rooted in experimental music composition and free improvisation, Rizoma's unique background adds a distinctive touch to their sets. Featured on platforms such as KEXP and Worldwide FM, Rizoma has also made an appearance at festivals like Latinos con Soul in San Francisco and Freakout in Seattle. Through eclectic selections, Rizoma invites audiences to join a cultural phenomenon where music becomes a bridge connecting diverse communities.
