Dove Ellis is a songwriter and performer from the west of Ireland. In the UK and Ireland's ever-accelerating post-Covid music scene, genres are dissolving faster than ever before, and Dove is a prime example of this shapeshifting next-Gen. His writing covers a range of styles — from soft acoustic ballads to hammering bass lines to visceral, ambient soundscapes — all kept tight and cohesive behind his high tenor croon. Cutting his teeth in Manchester's flourishing live scene, Dove has been spreading word-of-mouth after notable performances at End of the Road, support slots for Fabiana Palladino and dimly-lit headline shows in crumbling mansions. Dove has recently released his hotly anticipated debut single, ‘To The Sandals’, getting international plaudits from Stereogum, The Fader, So Young & will be supporting Geese on their North American tour this fall.
