Their unique and border-defying music consolidates their cultural roots, unique identities, and their penchant for honoring traditional Latinx music with modern-day compositional expressions. -----------------------------------------------------   For the past 15 years, Los Crema Paraiso has been at the forefront of redefining Venezuelan joropo music through its innovative interpretation as a power rock trio, often termed Neofolklore. Founded in 2009 by Neil Ochoa and Jose Luis Pardo, established Venezuelan musicians in New York with backgrounds in successful bands like Si-Se, Chicha Libre, and Los Amigos Invisibles respectively, the project initially began with a lighthearted notion of blending well-known rock songs with elements of jazz, pop, and electronica, all within the musical framework of the Venezuelan traditional Llanera music's 3/4 or 6/8 time signature.
