Description
Dolour is the alias of indie pop multi-instrumentalist/producer Shane Tutmarc. Originally from Seattle WA where Tutmarc was often called the “Kevin Bacon” of the indie rock music scene of the late 90s/early aughts, having collaborated with so many important Seattle musicians including members of Fleet Foxes, The Blood Brothers, Reggie Watts, Vendetta Red, Star Anna, Gatsby’s American Dream, Mark Pickerel, and United State of Electronica. Tutmarc set Dolour aside in 2007, while he pursued a wide range of musical paths from roots music (the Traveling Mercies) to electronic-rock (Solar Twin). Tutmarc, now based in Nashville, has also collaborated in the studio and on the road with many notable artists including Jessica Lea Mayfield, Sean Nelson, and The Explorers Club. In 2020 Tutmarc returned to Dolour with a prolific series of new releases which have been embraced by the worldwide Power Pop community, and in 2021 legendary songwriter Aimee Mann named Dolour’s “I’m Not Mad Anymore” as her “new favorite song.” This homecoming show at Seattle’s Tractor will only be the second full-band Dolour performance in over fifteen years. This concert will be a rare chance to catch Tutmarc dive into over two decades of Dolour’s catalog.

A trio of brothers and best friends, Highbeams have lit up stages across the southeast with their emotive, high-energy performances and rich three part harmonies. These travelers perform hundreds of shows across the Southeast every year; including opening slots for acts like Vertical Horizon, North Mississippi Allstars, Chase Bryant, Col Bruce Hampton, and the Grammy award winning band: Brothers Osborne.
The band constantly adds to their extensive body of work, all released through their own record label: Blanket Fort. Today the band continues to tour behind their newest album, You Would Be There.
Highbeams are Adam Pendlington, Ian Pendlington, and Stephen Quinn.
