Disconnect from the feed and join us weekly at B Side Lounge for a brand-new series. Every Sunday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. we're bringing you a new artist to enjoy and a cause you can get behind! We NEED community and this is a great way to support Greater Cleveland musicians and non-profits who need your ears NOW more than ever.

For this event, we'll feature musicians from the newest incoming class of Music Incubator/ Accelerator Program Artists chosen by Cleveland Rocks: Past Present Future. Good Morning Valentine and Shortt Stories will perform!

The Music Accelerator program connects Greater Cleveland music artists with resources necessary for success. The Accelerator is aimed at artists who have developed a fan base in the local scene who are working to expand their reach and raise their profile regionally and nationally. The Accelerator works by providing artists in the program access to professional services, expert advice, network building, and small business loans. Incubator Artists as well as our line-up will be announced soon!

Cleveland Rocks: Past Present Future's mission is to is to support and preserve Cleveland’s popular music culture and enrich local social welfare and economic growth by stimulating music-centered initiatives. You can make a direct donation here: https://clevelandrocksppf.org/donate/

Performances in this series are FREE to the public and encourage community outreach and fundraising for the partner non-profits. The series, named Discover Weekly Cleveland, is similar yet different from the Spotify playlists that inspired the name– they are an AI-less, curated experience featuring the best local musicians, once a week. Find your new favorite band and network with impactful organizations all with no commitment; just come and enjoy!

This weekly series is made possible by a generous grant from the Live Music Society. Their mission is to recognize and protect small venues and listening rooms across the United States so that live music can remain accessible to all.

  • Good Morning Valentine

    Good Morning Valentine

    Folk Rock

Goodmorning Valentine is the moniker for the singer songwriter Joseph Allen Beltram.  For the last 20 years, Joseph has been working away on his albums and putting himself on the road, traveling all over the United States both as a solo artist and with friends, playing places of some notoriety as well as dives you've never heard of, making friends and gathering a small audience as he goes.

Joseph is “the real deal,” a tireless songwriter whose determined daily routine has delivered him hundreds of songs. Songs of love, songs of travel, songs of political intrigue. As the frontman/creative engine of Goodmorning Valentine, his songs have been covered by David Mayfield, Al Karpinski of The Six Parts Seven, and Shivering Timbers.

For the last few years, Joseph Allen Beltram has fully embraced this itinerant life, waving farewell to old haunts from the window of a conversion van, chasing a permanent state of motion. His latest trip has taken him all over the country, recording with old friends, writing new tunes, and playing old favorites for those growing audiences.

  • Shortt Stories

    Shortt Stories

    Indie Rock

Shortt Stories is an indie trio out of NEO. Formed in 2019, the trio has been defying odds & captivating audiences virtually & in person with their unique blend of energetic rock and witty banter. Led by songwriter Rachel Shortt, their music tells of love, loss, & the journey of self-discovery. With their heartfelt lyrics, art punk bass, & weaving harmonies, they are a force in the indie scene. Shortt’s music has a genuine, vulnerable quality that enables her audience to connect with her deeply. Her songs, which are rife with contemplation, touch on subjects that are relevant to listeners everywhere.
