She is building an unsettling world through a variety of visceral images and visuals that go along with the music. The album as a whole explores the ups and downs of emotion that come with grieving the loss of someone in your life after a breakup – and the feeling of someone who used to be such a huge part of your life becoming a stranger to you again.
