Pop Punk
Palettes (stylized in lowercase) is a four-piece band based in Seattle, Washington, made up of
Adam Blasi (vocals), Austin Esry (guitar), Hector Guadarrama (guitar), and Courtney Pearson
(drums). Formed in 2021 by Blasi and Esry, the group solidified its lineup when Guadarrama and
Pearson joined officially in December 2023 after multiple live performances together.
The band's musical style is characterized by a fusion of pop-punk and emo, featuring catchy
melodies, energetic music, and dynamic choruses. Their distinctive sound emerged from years
of collaboration between Adam and Austin and was refined during the production of their
debut self-titled EP, which was released on July 14, 2023 and produced by Brian Butcher of The
Home Team. Their popular single "sky blue. (writing me off)," which also
includes a vocal feature by Butcher, garnered over 30,000 streams on Spotify within its first
month. palettes draws inspiration from bands like Knuckle Puck, The Home Team, Four Year Strong,
Mayday Parade, The Wonder Years, and Movements, and the band embarked on a west coast
DIY tour from late May to mid-June 2024. They are currently in the process of writing a full-
length album, which sees the return of Butcher in a producer and co-writer role, while also focusing on touring to bring their electrifying live performance to audiences everywhere.
