For more than three decades, Deerhoof has remained one of independent music's most fearless and inventive bands. Formed in San Francisco in 1994, the quartet has built a devoted worldwide following by blending art rock, noise, punk, pop, and avant-garde experimentation into a sound that is entirely their own.
Led by the unmistakable vocals and bass of Satomi Matsuzaki alongside drummer Greg Saunier and guitarists John Dieterich and Ed Rodriguez, Deerhoof's songs effortlessly shift between delicate melodies, explosive rhythms, playful hooks, and exhilarating chaos. Their unpredictable live performances have earned acclaim from fans and critics alike, cementing their reputation as one of the most exciting bands to experience on stage.
With more than 20 studio albums—including their latest release, Noble and Godlike in Ruin—Deerhoof continues to push creative boundaries while refusing to repeat themselves. Whether you're a longtime fan or discovering them for the first time, a Deerhoof show is an unforgettable journey through one of modern music's most original catalogs.

The first 7” single titled (CC) – a reference to the infamous Germs release – sold out immediately at the release show in Detroit, leaving fans hungry for more. The band is currently working on their debut album (or “mixtape” according to the band) to be released in 2026. If the response from local shows at Smalls, Paris Bar, and underground warehouse parties is any indicator, this will be one of the most anticipated releases of the year.
