Dean Fields Dean Fields’ new album is called “While the Baby was Sleeping” because, well, that’s when he recorded it. Late at night after they put the baby to bed he’d kiss his wife goodnight and retire to his little studio above the garage to record. It was just Dean, his songs, and his old guitar built the year his grandfather was born. Its been 7 years since Dean left his home of Richmond VA for Nashville TN. Since then his songs have been performed by Billy Currington, recorded by Lori McKenna, and produced by Garth Brooks. William Clark Green took his song “Goner” to #1 on the Texas radio charts. Fields is thrilled to return to Richmond for a special homecoming show to celebrate the release of his latest album “While the Baby was Sleeping.”
