Dead Ending (w/ members of Rise Against & Alkaline Trio)

    Heavy Metal

Dead Ending is a no-frills 80's influenced hardcore band featuring members of Rise Against, Alkaline Trio, Articles Of Faith and the Bomb. Their very existence raises a few questions, namely: "Really? What the fuck? How have I not heard about this until now?" and "Who's the awesome mastermind that was somehow able to unite members of some of the most beloved and popular Chicago punk bands from the last 30 years?" The answers to these questions are: "Yeah. I don't know. I'm just hearing about this myself" and "the Dead Ending genesis story is actually a lot more organic than that, man."

Here's how it happened: On tour in 2006, Bomb guitarist Jeff Dean met and befriended Vic Bondi, the frontman of legendary Chicago punk heroes Articles Of Faith. They bonded over hyper aggressive 80's bands and discussed the possibility of starting a band. When he got home, Jeff got busy and wrote some tunes, then recruited longtime friend, and Alkaline Trio drummer Derek Grant to help him lay the tracks down in Million Yen Studios, where Jeff works as an engineer. Vic liked the songs and signed on. Joe Principe of Rise Against came aboard on bass soon after that, and BOOM! Dead Ending was born.

Dead Ending made their live debut at Punk Rock Bowling in Vegas in 2012 and will do shows and potentially even small touring runs whenever their busy lives all align. They're also in the beginning stages of writing a full length. So get out your spiky belt and your safety pins and tell your dentist to go fuck himself because Dead Ending is gearing up to bring the chaotic hardcore of the 80's to you today with a quickness that would make Doc Brown shit his pants. Consider yourselves warned.

    Hellmouth

    Punk

Hellmouth's hometown has been ranked one of the top ten worst cities on Earth.  Bad Religion asked, “how could hell be any worse?” on their first record...they clearly hadn't been to the modern day Sodom and Gommorah called Detroit. Hellmouth is bombs, death, unemployment, corruption, sex and politics.  Hellmouth is both anti-christ and anti-human.  Hellmouth is an ugly fucking place to call home.

The four horsemen from Detroit draw on their combined years of devastation in the punk, hardcore and metal communities since the 80's to put forth the most extreme and uncompromising band of its members' careers.  With nods to bands like Celtic Frost, Black Flag, Venom, Discharge, Nuclear Assault and Disfear; Hellmouth is drawing from its members' past while carving its own disgusting future.

After signing to Ferret Records within a week of releasing their demo, Hellmouth unleashed their debut album, “Destroy Everything. Worship Nothing.” to a growing international cult of followers.  The Church protested in '09, riots broke out at shows (Detroit doomed to repeat itself whether it's '67 or '07), Hellmouth was banned from the pubs for being a public threat and yet still managed to spread its plague and slaughter the herd of non-believers.  In 2010, the d-beat listeners to death with their fucked-up arsenal of doom, thrash, death and destruction titled “Gravestone Skylines” on Paper + Plastick Records.  Bible burnings and general mayhem ensued.

Hellmouth has annihilated stages from the slums of Brooklyn to punk squats in Chicago and laid waste to bands from Toronto to Philly and from Cleveland to the battlefields of Detroit. They've played with the likes of the Cro-Mags, Entombed, Agnostic Front, The Meatmen, Keelhaul, Ringworm, Mayhem, D.R.I., Marduk, Negative Approach, Yakuza, Gang Green, MDC, Sick Of It All, Nachtmystium, The Dwarves, Every Time I Die,  and many more. The death-toll increases with every show as the True Cult ov Hellmouth play as if each day is their last.
