Comedy
DC Ervin is a powerhouse actor, comedian, and writer who was practically born into the spotlight. Growing up in the Northern California Bay Area, DC spent his youth in the back of comedy clubs watching his father perform—unaware that he was watching his own destiny unfold.
Today, DC has carved out a distinct lane of his own. A crowd favorite across the nation, he regularly commands the stages of legendary venues like The Laugh Factory, The Comedy Store, The Improv, and the Funny Bone circuit. He is currently bringing the laughs at clubs and theaters nationwide on the Wild Child tour.
DC’s dynamic presence transitions effortlessly from the stage to the screen. After making his television debut he quickly became a staple on major comedy platforms, appearing on NBC’s Last Comic Standing as a semi-finalist, FOX’s Laughs, Aspire’s We Got Next, Bounce TV’s Off The Chain, and Tru TV’s Laff Tracks. On the big screen, DC has become a go-to talent in blockbuster comedy. He appeared in the hit horror spoofs “A Haunted House” 1 and 2 and featured in the film” Fifty Shades of Black”. Most recently, he delivered a breakout performance starring as Candy Man in the instant smash-hit “Scary Movie 6”, which pulled in over $100 million at the box office in its opening week alone.
His comedy prowess has also been captured in major specials, including 2020's Tony Baker & Friends and the 2022 HBO Max special “Marlon Wayans Presents: The Headliners”.
When he isn't headlining stages or lighting up the silver screen, DC is behind the camera writing and producing his own short films and sketches. Caught in a permanent state of momentum, DC Ervin isn't slowing down anytime soon. Follow his journey on all social media platforms!
