The Loveliness of You pays tribute to Josephine Baker, whose glamour, daring, and activism made her a symbol of resilience and freedom. The world premiere of What a Difference a Day Makes honors Dinah Washington, the “Queen of the Blues,” whose unmatched phrasing shaped generations of performers.
