We’ve Got It All, is the 4th album by Cumulus, the songwriting project of Alexandra Lockhart and
William Cremin. Lockhart and Cremin have been collaborating as bandmates since 2018’s
record “Comfort World” and now “We’ve Got It All” showcases their exciting growth into
becoming co-writers and co-producers. Written in between long drives and voice memos, solo
walks in the woods, and writing sessions in a cozy Seattle basement practice space, “We’ve Got
It All” is a reflection on the most important things in life that carry us through the most difficult. It
is songs inspired by childhood friendships, a hello from a neighbor, bookish escapes, winding
highways, family connection, and of course, always, music.
In the vein of Lockhart’s biggest songwriting inspiration Jason Molina when he said “The real
truth about it is no one gets it right /The real truth about it is we're all supposed to try...” the
song Boxes and Letters holds the thesis statement and titular line of the record: “Take a deep
breath of the cold air and watch the leaves fall, for a minute we’re pretending- we’ve got it all-
figured out.” This is not a record of songs obscured by rose colored glasses. This is a record of
two writers grappling with the full spectrum of pain and beauty that is being alive and
understanding that sometimes we are okay and sometimes we have to pretend until it feels real.
No one has all of the answers, but maybe singing our uncertainty out loud can help us figure
something out. -
Little Wins is the bedroom pop-turned-heartland
rock solo project of producer and multi-
instrumentalist Andrew Vait. When Vait lost his
mother to cancer, he channeled his grief into
hand-building a home studio. He started writing
for the first time in years—the songs revealing
themselves as cinematic escapes, drawing
influence from artists like Waxahatchee, Kacey
Musgraves, S.G. Goodman, and Bon Iver. He wrote
the final songs that would comprise his debut
album while on a trip to Hart Mountain, Oregon
with his father, on the one-year anniversary of his
mom’s passing.
Vait began recording in the studio he built. He
played nearly every instrument and mixed the
collection of songs himself. As he approached the
finish line, Vait faltered. A fear took hold: that
releasing such a vulnerable work—so deeply
imbued with loss—would invite the soft tide of
change to wash away the version of himself that
grief had made familiar. A year passed before Vait
eventually surrendered and entered the final stage
of grief, as the moon enters its final phase: the
waning crescent. It was in that dusk-lit moment of
acceptance that the album took its final shape,
and he was able to let go.
Vait will release his debut full-length album,
Restless Medium, Quiet Moon, in September 2025.
The work speaks to an earnest longing for balance,
the urgent need for flight, and the curious,
courageous spirit in us all. The urge to cry and be
held. To reach desperately for connection. To light
a fire in one’s self and perhaps in the hearts of
others—and to uncover a deeper understanding of
grief and loneliness and the joy and beauty that
can spring from both.
