Pickathon Presents
Country Doc, Wonderly, Donovan Breakwater, So Sorry, and The Morals
-
Country cover band featuring Portland champs Danielle Sullivan (Of Wild Ones), Ned Failing (Mexican Gunfight), Nalin Silva (Donovan Breakwater), Kyle Morton (Typhoon) and Jim Brunberg (Wonderly) and maybe more!
-
Wonderly is the soulful, playful and ever-adventurous duo of Portland, Oregon musicians Jim Brunberg and Ben Landsverk. The pair is perhaps best-known for their bevy of indie film soundtracks and podcast theme songs (like the New York Times’ The Daily and Cheryl Strayed’s Dear Sugar Radio), but their original songs and albums are most often defined by harmony and storytelling. They sound equally at home making epic symphonic soundscapes, twangy americana and bubbly pop, producing and playing just about every instrument along the way. In their nearly three decades of collaboration, they’ve backed up their idols onstage (Smokey Robinson, Van Dyke Parks, Kristin Hersh), and made music with Northwest luminaries like Liz Vice, Laura Gibson, Laura Veirs and Ural Thomas.

Donovan Breakwater is a maker of Melodramatic Popular Song, founded in 2002 by Portland born and raised Musician and Engineer Nalin Silva. Joined in the Mid aughts by sister and PDX theater staple Jayne Elaine Stevens on vocals. A handful of releases, a pile of face melting shows, a front row seat to the past couple decades of Portland Music and a heavier heart to show for it! Joining Nalin and Jayne in the current lineup are Bryan Wollen (Lollipop Shoppe, Bleach Blonde Dudes, Nick Gamer), Leona Skinner-Kinderman (So Sorry, Rilla, Mr Wrong) and Michelle Wiley(So Sorry, OPB)! They fire up the Melodramatic Popular Song Maker for the melting of faces and warming of hearts!
For the May 15th 2026 Showdown show, they celebrate 50 years of Nalin on this plane and homie Chanterelle Lenzi day of birth as well!

Two guards stand before you. One always lies, one always tells the truth. They sing to you in harmony. What question do you ask?
-
Ben Hubbird and Casey Jarman. They formed in Eugene, Oregon in 2001 and play harmony-fueled "campfire pop" songs, mostly about trying to be good people. They have released a few EPs and one full-length album. They are prepping a new LP for 2027.
