    Corbin Louis is a Seattle artist with deep roots in slam poetry. As a poet turned singer, Corbin has blazed his way through the literary world with a voice that shrieks in empathy and rebellion. His music is an ode to survival. From addiction to chronic pain, Corbin has lived on. He’s staggered to the beat. And now, with new music he’s fused genres to produce a sound that critiques, laments and honors so many lives shattered by opiates. By embracing poetry at age 13 Corbin established his voice in 2008 at the International Youth Poetry Slam filmed by HBO. The artist went on to earn a MFA at the University of Washington, a Jack Straw Residency and multiple publications. His songs are a war call— howling against the weight of illness.

    Remember Face is a psychedelic hip hop group from Seattle, WA formed in 2016. The group is composed of vocalist Chimaroke “chima the s” Abuachi and producer Andrew Savoie who created the group while performing previously with 4 piece Seattle super group, Nu Era. The duo are known for their thought evoking wordplay, uncommon instrumentals and exploratory background visuals. After dropping a self titled/first Project in 2016, the duo came out with Vizard in the fall off 2018. Vizard is an album that draws you into a trance of darkness and deviance. It opens the mind to new realities and an undiscovered universe. Hypnotizing and captivating, Vizard cultivates the illusion of 11 different sounds where the feel of indulgence and temptation are explored. Looking ahead, the group is investing in their live performance and looking to break through new markets throughout the country and beyond.

    We are a Seattle based music duo of emcee Era and producer Sendai Mike. We write and create videos and songs inspired by the stories of people in our community here in the PNW. We are currently getting ready to release or latest project “Kahel Sky.” This album carries the lessons and experiences over the past year, forming a myriad of songs that signify a new beginning for us. “Kahel” is the tagalog word for an orange fruit — but can also be used for the color orange. “Kahel Sky,” for us, represents the end of a day — and the ushering in of a new tomorrow.


    We started making music at the University of Washington in 2013. Since then, we have worked to organize projects and release shows throughout Seattle. We've been independently booking our own shows and performing throughout the PNW and along the West Coast. Our main motivation is to find new and creative ways to create art that reflects and serves the communities we serve.

    The Sunset staff STRONGLY prefers that ALL patrons and musicians are both fully vaccinated and boosted. Please do your part to prevent the spread of Covid!
