Philip Basnage is a Manhattan-based singer, songwriter, and artist. Raised in the Bay Area, Philip started singing at the age of 9 in the Ragazzi Boys Chorus in Redwood City, California. His love for creating music started with electronic music production in high school, continued to a cappella arrangements in college, and has evolved to writing original music and curating themed sets for his audience. He now performs both covers and original music with his band in New York City, with strong inspiration from artists such as Jacob Collier, Anderson Paak, Bruno Mars, Daniel Caesar, and many others. His original music journey is just getting started, but for now his music resides in what he calls Jazz/Funk/RnB/HipHop-inspired Pop.
