Miranda Meadows is the host of the popular show Comic Wars at the Hollywood Improv and she regularly opens up shows at the World Famous Comedy Store.  Miranda played a lead role in the film Tomorrow’s Game, a baseball adventure sci-fi out now on Amazon Prime. She also holds the title of Sock Wrestle and Nunchuck Champion at the legendary comedy festival “Skankfest.”

Nate Welch is a bald-headed comedian from New Orleans, LA. Nate has opened for some of the best comedians in the game, including Theo Von, Jeff Ross, and Adam Ray, and also co-hosts “Comic Wars” at the Hollywood Improv monthly. He’s a former Roast Battle Champion, a Final 4 competitor at the Netflix is a Joke Roast Battle Tournament in 2024, and finished Top 3 in the world at the Roast Battle World Championship in 2025.

Chaunté Wayans is a proud member of the legendary Wayans family, a multi-hyphenate actress, comedian, writer, producer, and advocate for LGBTQ rights, mental health, and addiction. Growing up in New York City she was surrounded by multi-talented, creative uncles like Keenen, Damon, Marlon, and Shawn who served as role models while she pursued standup comedy and carried on the family legacy. Wayans is constantly creating and staying on top of her game, as well as headlining a national comedy tour, A Different Generation, that takes her to major cities. Recently, Wayans appeared on HBO Max Marlon Wayans Presents: The Headliners as the only LGBTQ performer in the hour-long, no- holds-barred stand-up comedy special. This comes on the heels of her widely praised performance in the Wanda Sykes produced Netflix Is A Joke: Tiffany Haddish Presents: They Ready. The actress and comedian’s passion for performance has recently led her to the big screen, landing the supporting role of ‘Bronco,’ opposite Tom Arnold in the upcoming Indie film, Alask’car, a comedy series written, produced, and directed by Ron Carlson with Larry Hummel as executive producer. Wayans has been featured in the press and media including but not limited to UPROXX People’s Party with Talib Kweli, Breakfast Club, SiriusXM Sway in the Morning, TheGrio, Essence, Forbes, Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune. Curating her own stand-up shows in Los Angeles, as well as hosting her own live stream comedy shows and starring in several unscripted viral hits on YouTube, such as Drive By Jokes and No Sound Charades. Chaunté Wayans captivates audiences with her uncanny ability to draw them into her unconventional life while remaining very relatable. During the height of the pandemic in 2021, she was the headlining act on the USO's 80th Anniversary National Guard Senior Leadership Thanksgiving Tour, which traveled through multiple countries including Southwest Asia, Eastern Africa, and Europe. Wayans spent the holiday performing to a standing ovation in front of an estimated 500,000 camouflaged servicemen and women stationed overseas. Wayans worked her way from the ground up before becoming a famous actress and stand-up comedian. She moved to Los Angeles and studied film and editing at UCLA Extension. She was introduced to the world of filmmaking while working as a production assistant on the film Scary Movie 2. She also served as a production assistant on Soul Train and earned her way up to assistant editor on ABC’s comedy, My Wife and Kids over the course of five seasons, where she was later invited to an open mic night, the success of which inspired her to pursue a career in stand-up comedy. Wayans returned to New York City to refine her stand-up skills, opening for notable comics such as Damon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Marlon Wayans, Charlie Murphy and more. In 2012, she performed at Madison Square Garden for the Hot 97 April Fools' Day Comedy Show, hosted by the legendary Marlon and Shawn Wayans. Her affinity for the stage has grown into a career as a stand-up comedian, sharing the stage alongside Tiffany Haddish, Katt Williams, Russell Peters, and others. In 2018, she made an impressive off-Broadway debut as 'Betty,' the lead character in the critically acclaimed Collective Rage, star-opposite Lea DeLaria, and Dana Delaney earning rave reviews ffrom Variety, The New York Times, and The Hollywood Reporter all gave Wayans glowing praise for this performance. She continued her successful stand-up career and has appeared in several television shows including, Kevin Hart's LOL Network's Just for Laughs 2020, Tru TV's Tournament of Laughs, Netflix's AJ and The Queen, Laff Tracks, and as a cast member on MTV's improv comedy show, Nick Cannon Presents: Wild 'N Out. She has been on several shows, including WTF with Marc Maron, The Lez Factor, Riffin with Eric Griffin, Girl Talk, and Season 2 of This Fool on Hulu. Wayans is in production for a dark LGBTQ comedy series titled, Unconventional, which centers on two eccentric, queer siblings and their significant others trying to start an unconventional family while navigating their 30s. Wayans now resides in Los Angeles.

Mike Falzone has gone from being one of the first creators to establish himself on YouTube in 2006 to performing regularly on some of the most prestigious comedy stages all over the United States and Canada. Mike is the creator and executive producer of Surrounded, a crowdwork show in the round. The  show started at the Hollywood Improv and has since been showcased at JFL in Montreal, Moontower, Netflix is a Joke Festival and licensed to Meta for a VR experience on Horizon Worlds. Mike’s been seen and heard in Final Space on Adult Swim, Coming to the Stage on Hulu, and was a former host of Discovery’s Sourcefed on YouTube. Mike (as wrestlin’ Fred) even had his own show with Seven Bucks Production (Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson) on YouTube. Mike currently hosts two popular podcasts: Dynamic Banter & Welcome to Our Podcast with his wife Zoja as well as a monthly version of Surrounded in the Lab at the Hollywood Improv. 

Born to an Iranian mother and Indian father, Omid Singh is one of the top multicultural comics working today. Not that he considers himself a public symbol or boundary-breaker. As he puts it onstage, “I don’t do anything scary when I go to the airport…but I do like to see how far I can walk away from my luggage.”  Singh’s childhood found him living in far-flung locations ranging from San Diego, ten years in Dubai, a year in fiercely conservative Katy, Texas, and back to the West Coast with addresses across Orange County. After hosting his fifth-grade talent show and participating in Comedy Sportz’s High School League, at 16 Omid produced his own stand-up night (for which he admittedly borrowed plenty of Eddie Izzard material). His participation in a 2008 Ice House comedy contest – this time with 100 percent original jokes – hooked him for life.   Despite experiencing stereotyping and even bullying, Singh doesn’t use his unique upbringing as a crutch. As he sees it, celebrating diversity allows him to connect with every type of audience imaginable. Singh spent his developmental years in New York City. There he studied at the Upright Citizens Brigade, performed on 2011’s New York Comedy Festival, and was featured in Ben Affleck’s 2012 thriller Argo. Fun fact: In a scene depicting Iranians rushing the American Embassy, extras aren’t wielding U.S. baseball bats thanks to his outspoken fact-checking. 2013 short film Subway, based on his material about a post-workout commute gone awry, was voted the Audience Award winner at the annual No Budget Film Festival.  Now making his home in Los Angeles, Singh was a featured speaker at 2015’s Golden West College Peace Conference. With fellow comedian Jeffrey Baldinger he co-created storytelling gameshow Story Poker, which in 2017 received international acclaim at Scotland’s long-running Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The pair envision expanding the Story Poker podcast into an ESPN-style online series and eventually a home boardgame.  Singh also co-hosts The Patiocast alongside Meg Charles. Spontaneous and uninhibited, the weekly podcast invites listeners to eavesdrop on top talent at Sunset Strip institution The Comedy Store. Singh’s a top seed on the venue’s juggernaut Roast Battle show, a regular at Hermosa Beach’s Comedy & Magic Club, frequent host at Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club on the Las Vegas Strip, and an overseas favorite at The Comedy Store in London.   Between touring clubs and colleges across the country, every April Singh curates the Comedy Stage at Broke L.A.’s indie-arts weekend. Creating opportunities for others to perform is a responsibility he takes seriously: He’s even run an open mic in his family’s downtown clothing shop. As the favorite road opener of Maz Jobrani, Singh credits the Iranian-American trailblazer for imprinting his beliefs in hard work, uncompromising values, and conveying a genuine sense of self. For Singh, being a member of the comedy community means belonging to an extended family, but also serving as a force for positive change in society at large. It’s all about striving to give his best performance possible – both onstage and off.

Jackson Banks has been hitting the comedy stage since 2012, bringing his unique blend of surreal and satirical humor to audiences across the country. He is known for his theatrical style and enjoys interacting with the audience. He is most commonly seen performing at the Improv and Comedy Store in Los Angeles, and his debut special 'Brain-Kisser' will be released this year.

Daniel Alvarez is an up and coming comedian, podcaster, and writer born and raised in Los Angeles. He burst on the scene in December 2021 and has been taking over the comedy scene with his unique LA point of view. He’s taken a tragedy and put a funny spin on it after being shot and paralyzed at a Halloween party in 2007. You can catch him on his podcast the Latin Feels Podcast and at all the major clubs in Los Angeles.
