He is a successful businessman, comedian, speaker, radio talk show host, and MC. He started as a comedian nearly 30 years ago. He is a Bermudian favorite where he has performed 22 times. He worked in jails and prisons across the U.S. and performs for churches, colleges, and corporations. Shawn has opened up for musical artists such as The O’Jays, The Temptations, Jars of Clay, Michael English, and John P. Kee. He has worked with Kevin Hart, Dave Chapelle, Steve Harvey, Martin Lawrence, Chris Tucker, Sheryl Underwood, Bernie Mack, and other notable comedians. He has written four books to date; one on leadership and three joke books.

He also has toured with other accomplished comedians such as Steve Harvey, Dave Chappelle, and Marcus Wiley in major venues. His TV credits include his performances on "Showtime at the Apollo" and "BET Comic View."
