Since first picking up the fiddle at the age of four, Nashville native Cole Ritter has spent the last two decades honing his live performance. He now averages around 150 live shows every year, consistently selling out 50–100 cap rooms throughout Tennessee, Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Indiana, and is finally ready to show the world what he’s been working on at a higher level. Blending the tried-and-true Nashville staples of upright bass, pedal steel guitar, and dreamy, reverb-drenched electric guitar with a modern psychedelic twist, Cole’s music has the warm familiarity of a Tennessee dive bar with the thought-provoking edge of something new. His sound has been described as spacey, psychedelic, and slightly trippy, while always still firmly holding on to the classic “Nashville sound.” Just a few years after winning Belmont University’s 2020 Country Showcase, Cole has already shared the stage with artists such as Sierra Ferrell at her sold-out show at The Ryman Auditorium, as well as Ricky Skaggs, The Band Perry, American Authors, and The Brothers Comatose, and he is fresh off his Grand Ole Opry debut performing with The War and Treaty. He was also featured on Season 20 of American Idol. In 2025, Cole Ritter signed with Nashville label MAD Records and is gearing up for his debut EP release and the launch of his solo project.
