Mocteau Twins is an all-women tribute to the iconic dream pop pioneers Cocteau Twins. Featuring an ensemble of celebrated local musicians—Charlotte Miller(vocals), Jackie Mendoza (saxophone, synth, electric ukulele), Cara Potiker (bass), and Laura Gonzales (guitar)—the group channels the ethereal textures and surrealist soundscapes of the original band while adding their own shimmering edge.   At the heart of the project is Charlotte’s voice, which bears an uncanny resemblance to Elizabeth Fraser’s haunting vocal style—otherworldly, emotive, and at times indistinguishable from the source.
