Description
Clock-Out Lounge Presents: Ononos Ghost Fetish Soft Release   Saturday, Oct. 26th 8:30 doors 21+ $15 adv / $10 at door if in costume  https://ononos.bandcamp.com/album/ononos ONONOS is a mangled dark disco experience led by composer and producer, Ross Marshall and vocalist  and composer Marcus Wilson, based in Seattle. Described as "pulsing,  sexy future-synth like standing in the spinning vortex of a haunted house" by The Stranger, ONONOS’ sound and aesthetic expand upon elements of synth-punk, mutant-disco, no-wave,  and post-punk dance music. ONONOS strives to make their live performances a multimedia experience;  incorporating striking visuals, elaborate costumes, and damaged dance-anthems for a haunted alien  discotheque.  Their first album, ONONOS, is a dark, heady mix of electro-punk, cold-wave, and damaged art-house dance  tracks. Abrasive, at times challenging; yet surprisingly catchy, danceable, and at certain moments, almost human. Sounds like Nirvana's Incesticide filtered through Liquid Sky (1983) and Throbbing Gristle. ONONOS first record is released on Cruisin’ records  https://ghostfetish.bandcamp.com/ Ghost Fetish harnesses the electric charge of synths and raw passion, crafting sonic tapestries that blend the glistening frequencies of new wave, the pulsing rhythm of synth-pop, and the entrancing depths of old-school goth. https://softrelease.bandcamp.com/
