Classy Dame Classy Dame is a Brooklyn-based band. This piano-forward trio writes songs about tigers, bridges, and your dying houseplant. Tsebiyah Tsebiyah (seh-bee-yah) is a singer, poet and AEA actor from New York. A graduate of Sarah Lawrence College, where she studied devised and experimental theatre, history, literature & writing, Tsebiyah has performed on Broadway, off-Broadway, regionally and internationally.  Previously, Tsebiyah was in “SKiNFoLK: An American Show” at The Bushwick Starr, which received a NYTimes’ Critics Pick. In 2022 Tsebiyah received a Hermitage Artist Residency, and in 2021 she was a NYC Artist Corps Grant recipient. At the heart of Tsebiyah’s artistry is a deep love for words, as well as R&B/Soul music. They compose themself into layers using their 5 string violin, loop pedal, and voice. Sometimes they do this with their band, Lily + The Goddamns. Hailing from LA and cutting their teeth in NY, they hop from coast to coast bringing sounds that make people laugh and cry and sway.
