Some people are literally born to make music. And one of those people is singer/songwriter Christine Rosander. Lest anyone write that off as just another cliché, consider this. Her mother was a piano teacher and singer, and a college voice major even while she was pregnant with Christine.
Those early lessons must have reached the womb, because today, with the impending release of her new album, the appropriately titled Been A Long Time, Christine Rosander fulfills a promise hinted at early on. They extend from her initial encounter with the music she was surrounded with in church to the lessons learned from her beloved grandfather — Grandpa Ray, who taught her to heed the bonds between life, love and family — and her voice teacher, Perla Warren, who showed her how to take a song and make it on her own, giving Christine a gift that’s resonated with her ever since.
