GRAMMY–nominated saxophonist and composer Chris Potter has become one of the most admired, studied and inspiring players on the scene today, moving from group projects with Pat Metheny and Dave Holland to a string of acclaimed ECM albums. Potter’s new CD Circuits(Edition Records UK) evokes a brave new sonic world of electronics, memorable melodies, and surprising turns of phrase rooted in an unflagging sense of groove and intense improvisation.
