CHRIS MANN & BRENNA WHITAKER: A HOLLYWOOD HOLIDAY SPECTACULAR! (NBC The Voice-Finalist & Verve Recording Artist)
-
CHRIS MANN's acclaimed vocal talent stands in a class of its own, cementing his reputation as "the favorite new male vocalist on the planet" (The Today Show) and "the voice of the pandemic" (LA Times).
His electrifying live performances seamlessly blend musical virtuosity with irresistible comedic charm.
Mann's stellar recording career includes the major-label chart-topping album 'Roads' (Universal/Republic Records) and 'Constellation,' both reaching #1 on Billboard's Heatseekers Chart and breaking into the Billboard Top 200. His much-anticipated fourth studio album (dropping 2026) features his signature "Big Band Soul" sound with collaborations
from an all-star lineup, including Grammy-winner India.Arie, Emmy-winner Wayne Brady, legendary saxophonist Kenny G, Grammy-winning spoken word poet J. Ivy, Grammy-nominated trumpeter Theo Croker, and iconic percussionist Pedro Martinez. The album brilliantly reinvents classic standards while introducing contemporary originals that Mann
describes as "Robin Thicke meets Tony Bennett."
Since 2020, Mann's hysterical musical parody videos have taken the internet by storm, amassing over 700 million views. These self-produced gems showcase his razor-sharp wit, expressive comedic timing, and world-class vocals, earning features on CNN, NPR, Today Show, BBC News, Vice, Funny or Die, LA Times, and The New Yorker. His
parodies were celebrated as "Best of the Year" on NBC's New Year's Eve Special for three consecutive years, where Mann has both performed and provided on-air commentary.
Mann captivated a global audience following Super Bowl XLVI with his unforgettable performance on NBC's "The Voice," watched by a record-breaking 37.6 million viewers. His chart-topping duet with Christina Aguilera established him as one of the show's most distinctive vocal talents ever.
His star continued to rise with his own PBS concert specials—"Chris Mann In Concert: A Mann For All Seasons" and "Home For Christmas"—followed by sold-out tours across America, Mexico, and Asia.
Mann's prestigious performances include appearances with the National Symphony for President Barack Obama, at Lincoln Center, with the New York Pops at Carnegie Hall, at The Kennedy Center for President Joe Biden, and on premier television shows including Ellen, The Today Show, The Late Late Show with James Corden, and Conan. -
As a kid growing up in Kansas City, BRENNA WHITAKER fell in love with the music of jazz and blues singers from a long-ago era. "Ruth Brown, Peggy Lee, Cab Calloway, Etta James - those are my people," says the L.A.-based vocalist. "I don't even know how I ended up knowing so many of their songs and standards from back then. It's almost like they found their way to me, like I'm from another time."
After landing her first professional theater gig at age 11, moving to New York City on her own to study with Broadway veterans at age 17, and spending her early 20s leading jazz bands back home in Missouri, Whitaker headed to L.A. and started setting up a series of residencies that eventually attracted fans like Stevie Wonder, Quincy Jones, and Michael Bublé and caught the attention of Verve Music Group chairman and 16-time Grammy Award-winner David Foster. The first new artist Foster has agreed to develop and produce since discovering Bublé, Whitaker is now set to release a debut album for Verve that finds her reviving a vast American jukebox of classic songs and revealing the full force of her stunning, soulful voice.

The American dream came true for Catalina Popescu in October of 1986 when she and her husband Bob created a supper club devoted to serving an experience of superb eats and the shared magic of live performance. That grand experience began at the door where every night her mother Maria would greet each guest as family and share in their love of music. Housed in Hollywood and decked out in a timeless charm, the club offers a cozy ambience under sparkling stage lights garnished with its signature concoction — Jazz. The first artist to grace the stage was the masterful flutist and saxophonist Buddy Collette, and ever since then, over the past 36 years, the Catalina Jazz Club has hosted the most illustrious legends of all time — from the powerful puffers of Dizzy Gillespie to the electrified fingers of McCoy Tyner, the bubbly belt of Dee Dee Bridgewater and Lynda Carter, the flirtatious saxophone of Joshua Redman, the slick strumming of Kenny Burrell, the insane drum clinic of Steve Gadd, the romance of Steve Tyrell, and the masterclass of Mike Stern.
For Catalina, Jazz is our way of life. It breathes pain. It knows love. It dreams hope. It bleeds courage. Whether we’re showcasing Broadway, Soul, R&B, or stand-up comedy, the lesson learned from all the greats who have serenaded our spirits is how to connect to one another. And that’s why the Catalina Jazz Club will always have a table ready for you.
The Catalina Jazz Club has been honored by A.S.M.A.C., California Jazz Foundation, Los Angeles Jazz Society, and a City of Los Angeles Certificate of Appreciation on their 25th Anniversary, which was awarded by Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and the LA City Council which included then City Council member and current Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti.
