The artist project of Pittsburgh music producer John O'Hallaron. In recent years Chalk Dinosaur has expanded to include drummer Nick O'Hallaron, guitarist Jon Henderson, and bassist Michael Berger. The music oscillates between groovy electronic music, funk, dance, and psychedelic rock. The discography is comprised of both solo recordings and collaborations with the band. Some albums are instrumental and some are vocally centered. Some shows are duo live electronic performances while others lean more funk and jam featuring the full band (Chalk Dinosaur Ensemble). Philadelphia born Jamtronic Trance Fusion quartet, Solar Circuit, a unique live experience with improvisational roots, blending instrumentation, vocals, and electronics. Newest studio album 'Pulling at the Source' showcases the group's solidified sound; a generous mix of complex songwriting, textures, instrumentation, vocals, and improvisation. The record melds deep electronic roots, layered with soaring guitar and synth melodies, to excite the listener and ignite contagious dancing. This quartet's sights are set full speed ahead, with the release of 'Pulling at the Source', the release of all live show soundboards, constant new additions to the catalog, and ever-growing chemistry and expansion.
