SARAH JUNE
COATIMUNDI
This show marks Phoenix-based artist Celine Mireille’s first time taking the beloved Valley Bar stage. While her recently-released debut album SALUTATIONS first introduced listeners to her world, this night is about showcasing the full spectrum of her artistry: bringing beloved tracks from the album to life, premiering brand-new originals, and sharing a few familiar songs reimagined.
Backed by a full live band and rich harmonies, Celine brings warmth, storytelling, and emotional depth to the stage in a way that feels both intimate and expansive.
The magic starts the moment the music begins, with special performances by Sarah June and Coatmundi, setting the tone for an immersive, genre-blending evening from start to finish.

Celine Mirielle
Celine Mirielle
Singer-Songwriter
CELINE MIREILLE is a singer, composer, and storyteller whose voice lives at the intersection of intimacy and expanse.
With two solo albums behind her – one contemporary, one sacred – she took a thoughtful pause from the stage and studio to pursue academic studies and dedicate herself to teaching—a calling that deepened her sense of musical community and purpose. In that time, she rooted herself more deeply in the rich tradition of choral and a cappella music, spending more than a decade weaving her artistry into the collaborative harmonies of ensembles, workshops, and sacred spaces spanning the globe. Now, after years of quiet cultivation, Celine returns with renewed vision and voice. Her forthcoming work dances between indie folk and chamber pop while also paying homage to – and drawing from – her deep well of experience in vocal-driven atmospheres. Expect music that captures listeners through lyrical vulnerability and melodic elegance, honoring silence as much as sound and serving as a long-awaited celebration of musical and creative revival.

Indie Pop
Sarah June
Sarah June
Indie Pop
An independent, singer songwriter based in Phoenix, AZ, sarah june. writes songs with vivid and nostalgic details that are easy to take on as your own. Listeners have used her lofi sound filled with layered, delicate vocals and guitar, as a way to feel at home in the world. The calculated rise and fall of her arrangements takes you through emotional landscapes of longing, peacefulness, and grief. Sarah's vocals are gentle, precise, and sincere, and her melodies befriend you easily. Although her delivery is typically comforting, Sarah's lyrics are often mysterious and challenging. In her song, "Ghost," whose crisp production pushes beyond that of a typical bedroom recording, Sarah sings, "feel your mind disappear," adding an unsettling undertone to the tranquility of the song. Sarah can be found playing in arrangements ranging from a solo acoustic performance to a full indie pop-rock sound. Whether on a record or in person, her music invites you on a journey that is both familiar and thought-provoking.

Coatimundi
Avant-Garde Rock
Born from a spontaneous rooftop jam beneath a stormy sky, Coatimundi is a brand new, innovative collaboration of three diverse Phoenix-based artists. Its members are: celebrated self-taught pianist and electronic music whiz Mark Dorris, New York City native vocalist/writer/coach Bel Holiday, and conservatory-trained classical cellist/educator Emily Yates. Initially drawing from ethereal avante-garde influences such as Björk, FKA Twigs, and Aurora, the group has evolved to incorporate live looping, mixing and electronic dance beats. At their core lies the trio’s symbiotic relationship with Ecstatic Dance. They aim to curate largely improvised musical experiences inspired by this healing somatic practice. Coatimundi captures the totality of the human experience - from whimsical to poignant - through their musical play.
